Our client is currently seeking an experienced Assistant to help support their Foundation department. This is an amazing opportunity with this highly sought after employer in the Healthcare Industry.

Job Description:

Performs a variety of administrative and clerical functions for the Fundraising Services Department.

The various job functions require independent action, extreme attention to detail, competence in various Microsoft Office software programs, strong oral and written communication skills, and adherence to protecting the confidentiality of information handled or processed.

Key functional areas include:

  • Merging, printing and sending print communications
  • Writing and sending email communications (using Luminate if at all possible): donor interest surveys, research updates, invitations, etc.
  • Writing other types of documents: membership appeals, monthly updates, surveys, letters
  • Ordering donor plaques and requesting installation
  • Ordering and putting together packets and/or gift bags for donor visits
  • Organizing/ coordinating stewardship events such as donor tours
  • Scheduling meetings, booking rooms
  • Sorting lists using Excel
  • Making thank you calls to donors

High School Diploma and 3+ Years of Administrative Assistant experience (preferably within a fundraising/marketing environment)
