Join us as our Manager of Corporate Human Resources and you will be responsible for setting policy and direction for the company that will ensure our compliance with all state and federal employment regulations.  You will manage a team of HR staff responsible for the administration of all internal HR practices and processes including – system access for onboarding, employee relations, leaves/FMLA, benefits administration, unemployment and internal HRIS systems.  You will need to use a high level of discretion and independent judgement to ensure all employment practices are managed fairly and consistently across all business units of the organization.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the administrative functions of staff onboarding and exiting; including the application process, offer and relocation letters, system access, HRIS information audits, termination process, and severance agreements.
  • Create, update and maintain company handbooks, policies, and procedures in accordance to regulations and ensure the field teams are in compliance.  Conduct ongoing audits of changes and implement the appropriate course of action as needed.
  • Manage Internal employee relations issues, investigate complaints or deviations from policy, and make recommendations for corrective action as needed.  Partner with internal HR, Safety, Recruiting, and Operations staff to communicate and audit adherence to policies. 
  • Direct the unemployment and employment verification processes for our employees.  Build partnership with third-party vendor to ensure all required responses and hearings are completed in a timely and effective manner.  Attend unemployment hearings on behalf of the company, providing factual and accurate representation.  Analyze claim win/loss ratios to determine process improvements needed to minimize claim costs.
  • Exhibit expert knowledge of Affordable Care Act requirements, benefit administration practices, and federal and state regulations and requirements for benefit programs.  Conduct ongoing audits of changes and implement the appropriate course of action as needed.
  • Manage the administration of all benefit programs for associates and internal staff including – new hire enrollment, open enrollment, qualifying life events, National Medical Support Program, 401K, wellness programs and activities.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent to 5+ years of continual increasing responsibility in HR roles
  • PHR/SPHR and CEBS preferred
  • Exceptional Excel skills (including macros and pivot tables) and experience with data analysis
  • Must possess considerable knowledge of Employee Relations, HR, benefit processes, state & federal employment regulations, project management and internal communication practices
  • Must have the ability to connect and partner collaboratively at all levels within an organization
  • Superior customer service, organization, time management skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate and problem solve in a fast-paced, and fluid environment
